Shri Limbaraj Tulshiram Tikle
(Popularly Known as Tikle Guruji) was born in very poor family. He took
his school education from Janata Vidyalaya Yedshi under the earn & learn
scheme and thereafter he took his higher education from Shivaji
University Kolhapur and was bestowed with the Gold medal for Marathi.
Shri Tikle Guruji was part of the Leftist Socialist Movement in his
student-hood and continued the same in future. In the year 1984 his
Excellency the Governor of Maharashtra Shri I.H. Latif visited teh
village Khed as the village was graded as Second in the State of
Maharashtra for the Development activities. Shri Tikle Guruji was the
core leadership behind the Development. Admiring the development then
his Excellency, the Governor of Maharashtra put a question to Tikle
Guruji "School kaha tak hai?" Tikle Guruji replied "Satvi tak
(7 th)". His Excellency again put the question " kyon, itni acchi
pragati kar rahe ho; high school kyon nahi kholte, jarurat padi to main
aapko madat karunga." Due to those inspiring words of his
Excellency, the then Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Tikle Guruji became
restless and started thinking about the opening of the High School in
the village Khed. The inspiring words were just lighting the match stick
to his vision about the development of the village Khed. He had been
always thinking about the jobless youths from the village Khed and with
teh two abjectives in order to ensure some sort of employment to the
youths and in order to improve the academic excellence of the village
Khed, he decided to start the High School. In the same year under the
distinguished leadership of Shri Tikle Guruji, the foundation stone of
ADARSH SHIKSHAN PRASARAK SANSTHA, KHED was laid down and Shri
Tikle Guruji became the founder Secretary. In the year 1984 Adarsh
Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Khed startd LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI
VIDYANIKETAN KHED, the High School. Shri Tikle Guruji faced many problems while achieving the divine goal, to run the High School. He was compelled to sell his own land and not only this the Jewelry of his wife also became the offering in this divine and prestigious "Mahayadnya". Shri Tikle Guruji suffered many problems including economic and physical assaults on the part of the enemies who were opposing to this divine development. But due to the extreme support from his relatives, friends and well wishers who were necessarily poor the Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha has been running Lal Bahadur Shastri Vidya Niketan Khed successfully. Today, Lal Bahadur Shastri Vidya Niketan, Khed is recognized as one of the best school in the Rural parts of the Osmanabad District. the High School is running standard 5th to 10th each class having two divisions in the R.C.C. building having 20 rooms.

| In the year 1986 only,
the Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha started YASHWANTRAO CHAVAN
MAGAS-WARGIYA VIDYARTHI WASTI GRUHA in Khed. Many students are provided
accommodation in the said Hostel. Though the said Hostel is receiving
grants only for 27 students, but almost 150 students are living there
and prosecuting their studies. The students who are living in the Hostel
are necessarily from the poor families. The surplus expenditure is borne
by the Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Khed itself. It is needless to
mention that Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Khed was started with the
prime objective to impart the education to the students from the Rural
area who are necessarily poor and the Sanstha is continuing the task
with utmost devotion and dedication. In the year 1993, the Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Khed started the High School Rajarshi Shahu Vidyalaya Nitali, Tq and Dist. Osmanabad. In the said High School, the classed of 5 to 10 are run. And in the year 1994 the Sanstha started Yashwantrao Chavan Vidyalaya Bhanasgaon, Tq & Dist. Osmanabad in teh hilly area of the Osmanabad Tahsil, the said School is also running the standard 5th to 10th. In the year 1994 itself the Junior College of Arts was attached to Lal Bahadur Shashtri Vidyaniketan Khed.

| Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak
Sanstha, Khed is known for its academic excellence in the Osmanabad
District. In the year 1991 itself, the two students from Lal Bahadur
Shastri Vidya Niketan, Khed namely Mahendra Garad and Rajendra Veer were
successfully admitted in the Government Medical and Engineering College
respectively. And since then the graph of the academic excellence has
been rising to its endless ultimatum. The other Branches of the Sanstha
are also following the sam path and many Doctors, Engineers, Advocates,
Professors, Teachers and also the M.B.A. Professionals are the products
of the Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Khed. In the year 2007 itself,
the Junior College of Arts, Lal Bahadur Shastri Uchha Madhyamik
Vidyalaya Khed stood second in the Osmanabad District.
The Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Khed is not only concentrating on the academic excellence, but the other curriculum activities are alsocherished. All the branches are having adequate facilities of sports and games and other curriculum activities. In the year 1998 the Girls Kabbadi Team of Lal Bahadur Shastri Vidya Niketan Khed was winner of the Silver medal in a competition at hte Division level. In the year 1998 itself the student Kakasaheb Baburwan Gard fro Lal Bahadur Shastri Vidya Niketan Khed was bestowed with the Trophy of for the best player in the Osmanabad District. Not only this in the year 1999, the Project of Lal Bahadur Shastri Vidya Niketan Khed was bestowed wih the Silver medal in the Science exhibition arranged in the Osmanabad District. Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Khed has equipped its all branches, the physical as well as instructional infrastructure. All the branches are well equipped with Science Laboratories, Play grounds, Library, and not only this considering the present situation free computer education is provided through all the branches. Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sansths, Khed is very thankful to the ex-minister of Home & Energy Department, the State of Maharashtra, Dr. Padmasinghaji Patil for his whole hearted support. Without his support nothing could have been achieved by the Sanstha. Adarsh Shikhsan Prasarak Sanstha, Khed has been started with the prime objective of imparting the Education to the poor students in the Rural area and under the distinguished leadership of Shri Tikle Guruji, the Founder Secretary the Sanstha is continuing the same spirit. The Sanstha is not satisfied itself that it is providing the education to the poor, but the Sanstha is trying its best provide quality education as compared to the renowned schools fro the Urban areas. And Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha's Junior College of Education is nothing but the land mark to be achieved in the endless way of divine achievenent. |
